Performance is surprisingly stable. On an iPad Air or Pro, the battles run smoothly even with hundreds of units clashing. There are occasional dips when smoke effects or explosions pile up, but rarely enough to break immersion. On an iPhone, the experience is predictably more cramped, but still playable if you have steady hands.
