The Protocol Update: The KSuite 2.70 software acts as an updater. When you launch it with your KTAG 2.25 clone connected, it updates the vehicle protocol files on the tool's internal SD card. The Result: After a successful update, the ECU protocol database on your KTAG clone's SD card is effectively upgraded to the 2.70 standard. However, you will continue to use your original KSuite 2.25 software to access these new protocols. Some users, confused by this, try to launch KSuite 2.70 directly and are met with errors like "No internet Connection error" or greyed-out protocol buttons. This is expected, as the software is not designed to be used directly with the clone.
